Isn't it great to Go M.A.D. once again?
Go M.A.D. 5 was a children's craft and activity workshop (for 5-12 years) organised by the Circuit Youth Team of the Poole & Swanage Methodist Churches which ran on Sunday 30th September 2007 from 3.00 — 7:30 pm. This year we were thrilled to offer a professionally led African drumming session for everyone to take part in. There was also crafts, games, songs, a shared tea and a special service at the end for all ages.
This year Go M.A.D. returned to its birthplace - Upton! To celebrate our 5th birthday we had all the usual favourites like the craft activities and the Go Mental singing session but this year we also had something a bit different up our sleeves. We managed to book Noah (an African drumming expert and all-round nice bloke) to lead two drumming workshops. Suzannah and myself (and most of Activ8) have sampled one of his sessions before and thought it was BRILLIANT - loads of noise and loads of fun! He went down a storm at Go M.A.D. 5!
