SPLAT is our exciting children's group at Lytchett Matravers Methodist Church. It's an after-school club for children aged 7-11 years old. There's always something new each week with different stuff going on but during that hour and a half you can expect the following:
Have a go at a variety of craft activities.
Let off some steam by playing some great games.
Enjoy a half-time drink and biscuit!
Sit down, chill out - think a bit & talk a bit.
Get up, jump about and sing some seriously funky songs!
We all have a lot of fun at SPLAT but don't just take my word for it - come along and see for yourself!
There are lots
of photos to see in the
SPLAT Photo Gallery
(SPLAT Members only)
SPLAT costs £1 per person per session (just to cover some essential running costs) and meets every other Wednesday (i.e. fortnightly) from 4:30 - 6 pm during term time only.
As part of our child protection policy we operate a signing in/out system. This means that children cannot just be dropped off (and neither can they just wander off themselves). Every child wishing to attend a SPLAT session must be signed in by a parent/guardian or other responsible adult and also signed out when they leave.
Consent forms are available from the office at Lytchett Matravers Primary School, from Lytchett Matravers Methodist Church and also from me. We need to have a completed and signed consent form for each child attending SPLAT. You'll only be asked to fill one of these in once a year (unless your details change).
