We arrived at Portland on Friday the 7th March. We then had to unload all of the luggage from the mini bus. After that we played getting to know people games and we wrote our names down on badges, so everyone would know who we were. For tea we had fish and chips. We went into the hall and played some games. We got ready for bed and went to sleep. (That night it was freezing.)

In the morning we got dressed and had toast, cereal, fruit or yoghurt for breakfast. We went for a walk to Henry VIII’s castle and we also walked along the beach. We had a couple of sessions in which we did drama and talked about things in groups. We had jacket potato for lunch. Then we all got into the mini bus and went to the sea life centre, we watched the seal show looked around at all the fish and sea life and looked around the gift shop too. We went back to the church and prepared for the morning worship, some people prepared small sketches in groups and some of us practised our instruments to play in the morning worship. We went down to the kitchen where we had our tea, where we had a choice of many different things. We then played games like Uno, Piggy and loads more. We got ready for bed and went to sleep. (It was much warmer that night.)

In the morning we got dressed and had breakfast. Went down to the church where we got ready for the morning worship. We put on our sketches and played our instruments in the service. We went down for lunch where we had pizza. We packed our stuff, loaded it in the mini bus and said our goodbyes. We all got into the mini bus and made our way back home.
