10:30 am every Sunday

On behalf of the Poole Bay Methodist Circuit, Suzannah and I now run a weekly Zoom Worship every Sunday morning at 10:30 am.

As Methodist Church buildings open for worship once again, the strict guidelines mean that what we are able to offer is much more modest in content and limited in terms of numbers allowed to attend. For those who would prefer not to return to a church building at present then the Circuit offers some alternatives in the form of recorded audio services online (and printed transcripts) and more recently Zoom Worship.

We gather from 10:15 am to say hello and welcome each other and then the worship begins about 10:30. We have prayers and readings led by lay folk from across the Circuit and live music with guitar and flute courtesy of Suzannah and myself. I usually lead the service and preach.

We also cater for children (and the young at heart) with our weekly Children’s Challenge which is a craft activity that families (and anyone else!) can do during the service.

We conclude by sharing the Grace together in glorious unmuted cacophony! We then break into smaller after-church ‘coffee groups’ for those that want to continue fellowship and catching up with their friends.
